After more than ten years since its previous release, Skate is finally kicking its way back into the public eye. Following its original unveiling in 2021, Skate 4 (sometimes known as just “Skate”) currently seems to be getting closer to release.

Except for a brief clip that surfaced earlier this year, no gameplay has yet been seen, but EA seems prepared to pull the curtain in the coming days.
A fresh public playtest has been scheduled for July, so a few fans will soon be playing the game. What you should know is as follows.
Dates for fresh Skate 4 playtests
The forthcoming Skate 4 playtest is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 5 at 10 AM PT and go until Friday, July 8 at 5 PM PT.
This provides a small group of gamers with about four days to try out the new version. The build is sure to contain much for fans to enjoy, from trying out various new features and reporting bugs or simply drifting across the open world.
This Skate 4 playtest is only available on PC. According to a few gamers who obtained early invites, despite information not yet being officially confirmed by EA.
This implies that for the time being, neither PlayStation nor Xbox console users will have access to the updated build. That is not to say, though, that EA won’t in the future test other options.
You must first make sure that you have an EA account to access the brand-new Skate 4 build. Once you’ve logged in to the EA website. All you have to do is register to be a playtester, specify your preferences, and wait for an invitation.
We don’t yet know how restricted this Skate 4 test will be. But we do know that not everyone will be granted admission. There is therefore no guarantee that you will be able to access this fresh playtest even if you have registered.
