History of Dutch Darts Championship and Dutch Darts Masters
On the 2018 PDC Pro Tour, the 2018 Dutch Darts Championship was the eleventh of thirteen PDC European Tour events. From September 7–9, 2018, the tournament was held at the MECC Eventcenter in Maastricht, Netherlands. It had a field of 48 players and a prize pool of £135,000, with the winner receiving £25,000. Ian White defeated Ricky Evans 8–5 in the final to win his tenth PDC title and first on the European Tour.
On the 2019 PDC Pro Tour, the Dutch Darts Masters was the eighth of thirteen European Tour events. From May 24 to 26, 2019, the competition was held at IJsselhallen in Zwolle, Netherlands. It had a field of 48 players and a prize pool of £140,000, with the winner receiving £25,000.
After defeating Steve Lennon 8–5 in the 2018 event final, Michael van Gerwen was crowned winner and entered 2019 event as defending champion. Ian White, however, stopped Van Gerwen’s five-year winning streak by defeating him 8–7 in the 2019 final to earn his third European Tour title.
2019 was the last edition of Dutch Darts Masters and fans haven’t got the chance to enjoy the tournament since then. Meanwhile, Dutch Darts Championship hosted it’s last edition in 2018 but will return to the 2022 PDC European Tour with the event taking place in Zwolle, IJsselhallen from 27th May to 29th May.

2022 Dutch Darts Championship Details and Prize Money
On the PDC Pro Tour in 2022, the Jack’s Dutch Darts Championship will be the eighth of thirteen European Tour events. From May 27 to 29, 2022, the event will be held at the IJsselhallen in Zwolle, Netherlands. It will include a field of 48 players and a prize pool of £140,000, with the winner receiving £25,000.
After defeating Ricky Evans 8–5 in the 2018 final, Ian White was the defending champion, however he did not qualify for the tournament.
