A pro-am league will be featured on NBA platforms for the first time this season, furthering the NBA’s mission to interact with fans throughout the offseason and diversify its basketball-related programming. On July 16, the Drew League made its debut on NBA digital platforms with a thrilling clash starring LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan.

What is the NBA Drew League?
Alvin Wills established the Drew League in 1973. In Los Angeles, the pro-am league has been showcasing both local and international players for nearly 50 years. According to Drew League Commissioner Channel Smiley, “This is a very exciting year for the Drew League, and we are happy to cooperate with the NBA to offer the league to more fans throughout the globe.”

From Saturday, July 23, through the championship game on Sunday, August 21, select weekends will include NBA platforms streaming Premier Drew League summer games. Soon, information on the whole game schedule and coverage will be available.
