The Doctors Association of Kashmir (DAK) on Sunday, condoled the sad demise of Dr Muzamil Wani who passed away yesterday at the SKIMS hospital, know about his death
He was just 30 years old.
Expressing deep sorrow and shock over the sudden death, President DAK Dr. Nisar ul Hassan paid tribute and heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the members of the family of Dr. Muzamil Wani. He prayed for peace to the doctor’s departed soul.

Calling the death as an irreparable loss, Dr Nisar stated, ‘this unfortunate death has lost the medical fraternity gem of a man in the demise of Dr Wani. He was truly kind, deeply compassionate, empathetic, and really caring towards his patients.’
Who Was Dr Muzamil Wani
Dr. Muzamil Wani graduated from the SKIMS Medical College which is based in Bemina and then further he underwent postgraduation in the department of pediatrics and was working as a Senior Resident at the SKIMS hospital Soura.
Dr. Wani was a real gentleman and he hailed from Nadigam Shopian. Wani was a noble soul and always stood a helping hand to the needy and poor people in need. He will be remembered and missed by all of us and always stay in our hearts. His news of Dr. Wani’s demise has been a shocking headline today and this news is spreading all over the social media handles.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat over a phone call, a family member stated, ‘Muzammil Ahmed Wani, who was the son of Ghulam Mohammed Wani, from the Nadigam Shopian was found dead under mysterious circumstances at hospital SKIMS based in Srinagar in the morning.’
The Principal of GMC Jammu, Dr Shashi Sudan stated, “Dr Wani had been battling from the Covid-19 complications for the past 14 days at the hospital. He had improved in between and had even tested negative again when he was recovered. We were preparing to movie him to a non-Covid ICU today but unfortunately, he had a lot of post-Covid complications. His lungs had become very weak and a day before, we had to put him on a ventilator for ease,” Dr Sudan stated publicly.
