In the wake of his car accident, Woods was not charged with DUI. Police added that despite the fact that investigators found an empty pill bottle in his backpack and that he was “slightly aggressive” and confused thereafter, Woods did not have bloodshot or watery eyes, and he did not smell alcohol, according to the police.
Woods displayed no “obvious” indicators of impairment, according to LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who also denied giving the golfing icon special treatment. In a different incident, Woods was charged with DUI in 2017 after using painkillers and anti-anxiety medication. He ultimately pled guilty to careless driving.
