“Does that mean your team defended well?” Paul Scholes Continues His Agenda Against The Chelsea Defence

A relentless Paul Scholes has refused to down his tools in his propaganda against the Chelsea defence

For a man who lasted merely a month into his job as a manager, Paul Scholes does do plently of talking.

The Manchester United player had earlier this week gone onto claim that Chelsea’s defensive setup was the worst amongst the top 4 sides in the league. Completely disregarding the extradonaire record the club based out of London has held defensively ever since Thomas Tuchel has taken over the reigns of the club, Scholes went onto make outlandish comments on the team.

He claimed the Premier League title this season would be contested between Liverpool and Manchester City with Chelsea not in the running due to their backline. Despite the club winning the Champions League last season with the best defensive record ever in the marquee tournament, Scholes spun a narrative of how Chelsea’s defensive unit was even worse than Manchester United.

And while Chelsea kept a cleansheet against Brentford in their 1-0 win on Saturday and Manchester United shipped four against Leicester City, Scholes refused to be deterred in his agenda. The player took to Twitter, claiming how Edouard Mendy winning the man of the match in Chelsea’s win was a further testament to his claims of Chelsea having a jittery backline.

Scholes has managed to successfully embed himself in the lengthy pile of old players turning football experts who have absolutely no clue of what they are talking about. The impending days are bound to see Scholes continue with him tirade against Chelsea with him unable to call out Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his horrid brand of coaching.
