Dmitry Bivol vs Gilberto Ramirez Match Events & How it Unfolded?

Ramirez appeared to win rounds two and three while Bivol was developing a suitable strategy for assault, therefore it took Bivol three rounds to gauge his larger opponent. Ramirez was stunned by Bivol’s confident jabs and one-two combos as early as Round 4 of the fight, which helped Bivol gain momentum of the fight. Short left hooks and one-two-one combos were added to Bivol’s repertoire as the battle progressed, and he began to exert a stronger hold over the action and pace.

Ramirez struggled against Bivol’s adaptable and skilled boxing, even when he tried to make concerted assault and drive Bivol back to the ropes during middle rounds. Ramirez was forced to think throughout the whole battle, but Bivol regularly ruined his plans by hitting punches that were obviously painful. Bivol didn’t force the stoppage, but it appeared that he was aiming for one. Ramirez may be stunned and thrown off balance by Bivol, but the Mexican could not be defeated or have his will to fight broken. Ramirez wasn’t too skilled to be surpassed, but he was also too huge to be overcome.
