According to reports, Corey Perry was cut by the Blackhawks due to allegations that he had an affair with Melanie, the mother of young, talented player Connor Bedard. Shortly after Corey Perry was fired by the Chicago Blackhawks, general manager Kyle Davidson addressed the irrational rumours about him. claiming that the superstar Connor Bedard’s mother had no bearing on the winger’s contract termination.
After an internal review on Tuesday, the management decided that Perry “engaged in unacceptable conduct” and had broken both his contract and the Blackhawks’ internal regulations. As a result, Perry was placed on unconditional waivers.
After much speculation, the decision was made. Perry had an intimate relationship with Melanie, Bedard’s mother. and even though the discussion seemed unimportant, many people took it to social media.
