In 2022, World Athletics Diamond League is in its thirteenth season and the competition has improved elite athletics series since Diamond League was launched in 2010. Zurich Diamond League Grand Final 2022 List of Events, Participants, And Expectations from Neeraj Chopra
The joint Olympic high jump champions Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy and Mutaz Barshim of Qatar will square off once more on Wednesday in the 2022 Diamond League final, which will take place in Zurich. In addition, the men’s and women’s shot put, women’s pole vault, and men’s and women’s 5,000m will all be run on the opening day of competition.
Neeraj Chopra, the javelin champion from the Tokyo Olympics, will compete for top honors at the Zurich Diamond League Grand Final in 2022. Neeraj Chopra was the first Indian in history to win a leg of the Diamond League when he took first place in the Lausanne Diamond League in August. He qualified for the Grand Final in Zurich thanks to the victory in Lausanne and a second-place showing at the Stockholm leg.
The strongest opponent for Neeraj Chopra in Zurich will be Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic, the 2016 Diamond League champion, who has a best throw of 90.88 meter this year. Julian Weber of Germany, the current European champion, will also provide challenging opposition. Neeraj Chopra owns the second-best throw of the year with 89.94 meters, which he achieved at the Stockholm Diamond League back in June.

On Thursday, September 8, Neeraj Chopra is slated to compete in the men’s javelin throw, which will begin at 11:50 PM IST. The Sports18 1 and Sports18 1 HD TV stations in India will broadcast live coverage of the Zurich Diamond League Grand Final in 2022.
