The final list of competitors announced predicts lavish clashes for the 47th edition of Athletissima also known as Lausanne Diamond League, which will take place on August 26. In the 100m women’s race, in particular, all the greatest in the world will start at the front. The World Athletics outdoor track and field yearly series, known as the Diamond League, is in its thirteenth season in 2022. Since the Diamond League was established in 2010, the competition has been a refurbishment to the elite athletics series. It was planned to replace the dual-meet final format with a single final, making a total of 14 meetings and 32 Diamond Discipline competitions. There will be a second Chinese meeting, according to the amended calendar. The incidents were condensed so that the series would fit into a typical 120-minute broadcast schedule.

2022 Lausanne Diamond League List of Events, Date, Time, And Participants
The 2022 Diamond League season’s next competition will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland after a successful event in Monaco. For the Diamond League’s 12th stop of the season, athletes will travel to the Swiss city, which will occur at the La Pontaise Olympic Stadium on Friday, August 26, 2022. At Lausanne, the competitors will participate in 14 disciplines from the Diamond League according the schedule. There will be seven men’s and seven women’s competitions in disciplines at the season’s twelfth stop. Additionally included in the next competition are the women’s 800 m and 4×100 m relay.
In the 100m, Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson-Herah will compete against Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica. This race, which will feature nearly all of the World Championship finalists from Eugene, USA, will be the pinnacle of all competitions. Thompson-Herah is the current 100, 200, and 4 x 100 m sprint triple Olympic champion and owner of the second-fastest straight-line time in history (10’54).

Lausanne Diamond League 2022 Prize Money, Tickets Live Stream And Telecast
The Lausanne Diamond League winners will receive a total of $10,000 in addition to the gold medal, while the losers will each receive $6,000 in prize money. There are 32 Diamond Disciplines in the Wanda Diamond League, which is set up like a championship. Athletes receive 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, or 1 points for finishing first through eighth in each of the 13 series meetings and after the culmination of all series meetings, top finishers will proceed to the final.
In addition to winning their particular Diamond Discipline, each “Diamond League Champion” at the Final will also get a Diamond Trophy. In addition to this, the winner will bag a total of $30,000 in prize money, and a wild card to the World Athletics Championships.
