In men’s doubles quarterfinal of 2022 Denmark Open, seventh-seeded Indian duo of Satwik Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty suffered straight-set loss by score of 16-21, 19-21 against formidable fourth-seeded Malaysian duo of Chia & Wooi Yik. Following their win, the Malaysian duo has advanced to semi-final stage, where they will face second-seeded Indonesian duo of Gideon & Sukamuljo. In another semi-final match, fifth-seeded Indonesian duo Aldian & Ardianto will clash against eighth-seeded Malaysian duo of Yew Sin & Ee Yi.
South Korean women’s doubles duo of Baek Ha-Na & Lee So-Hee stunned fellow South Korean pair of Kim So-yeong & Kong Hee-yong after an intense battle that ended 16-21, 21-15, 21-16 in favor of former duo. In semi-final stage, Korean duo will face third-seeded Japanese pair of Nami Matsuyama & Chiharu Shida. In another semi-final, top-seeded pair of Chen Qingchen & Ji Yifan will clash against sixth-seeded Thai duo of Jongkolphan Kititharakul & Rawinda Prajongjai.
Meanwhile in mixed doubles event of 2022 Denmark Open, second-seeded Japanese duo of Yuta Watanabe & Arisa Higashino crashed out after losing in straight sets by score of 18-21, 14-21 against unseeded Malaysian pair of Soon Huat & Jemie Lai.
