Dead by Daylight Update 6.0.1 Available To Download And Patch Notes List
With the release of the new 6.0.1 update for Dead by Daylight this week. Behaviour Interactive continues its aggressive schedule of content updates for the asymmetric multiplayer horror game.
While Dead by Daylight didn’t make any major announcements in June this year. The company is still expecting a jam-packed second half of the year. As the Twisted Masquerade episode in Dead by Daylight begins. 6.0.1 is an update that will establish the basis for what’s new.
ALL DEAD BY DAYLIGHT TWISTED MASQUERADE MASKS
The Twisted Masquerade is a special limited Dead by Daylight event that is currently available as of this publishing. The event commemorates the sixth anniversary of Dead by Daylight and features a special Twisted Masquerade Event Tome for players to finish.
There are also several unique goodies, such as 12 masquerade masks, outfits, & charms. As well as thematic improvements to Dead by Daylight’s maps to celebrate the anniversary. The final date of the Twisted Masquerade is unknown.
The core of Dead by Daylight version 6.0.1 is a slew of bug patches for a number of issues that have been plaguing the game for a while.
The Cannibal’s chainsaw, for example, might occasionally be silent to Survivors, or The Dredge’s smoke would’ve been missing.
Some fixes are also fairly difficult, such as a bug that prevented the Play With Your Food perk. From consuming a token after hurting a Survivor with Cenobite’s Engineer’s Fang add-on and a
Possessed Chain.
Don’t worry, though; all of these issues have been resolved.
However, Behaviour concedes that it hasn’t yet been able to resolve some specific difficulties.
The 6.0.1 upgrade notes identified two specific focuses.
First and foremost, after the 5.7.0 release, there has been an upsurge in reports of rubber-banding.
The second issue is that Dead by Daylight can crash while the game is still downloading during the tutorial bot battle.
