The Daryaganj Restaurant Business pays respect to Grandfather Kundan Lal Jaggi as his heirs present a growth-focused business plan to the Shark Tank India audience. The owner offers Maa ki Dal with black lentils, his spices, and butter after the client requests that he prepare it in a different way.
Since then, every client has come to enjoy it greatly as a vegetarian meal with additional butter, and it has since gained popularity. Similar to this, Kundan Lal gave out butter chicken to customers who requested leftover tandoori chicken with gravy as the restaurant was about to close, and it quickly gained popularity.
The restaurant opened its doors in 1947 in the renowned “Moti Mahal” building in New Delhi’s Daryaganj district. Kundanlal always made an effort to make the cuisine delicious and memorable in every manner. Even now, food is still made with the same mindset.
In 2017, Kundan Lal’s grandson Raghav Jaggi transformed this establishment into a hospitality restaurant in his honor. They have three locations in Delhi, one in Gurgaon and Noida, and one in Daryaganj Cloud kitchen. Additionally, five restaurants and five cloud kitchens are going to launch soon.
