Branded content enables creators to collaborate with companies to promote goods and services, so Ronaldo’s social media team might have sponsored the content for the fan page.

The content in question has since been taken down. On X, nevertheless, the post’s screenshot went viral in no time, with fans criticising him for being insecure about Messi’s achievements.
