The user ‘GOATnaldo Junction’ shared a post describing, “The Ballon d’Or hits different when it’s earned.” The post has 87,000 likes and 108,000 followers. The post comes after Ronaldo questioned the validity of individual honours in the wake of Lionel Messi’s victory as the Best FIFA Men’s Player.

Branded content enables creators to collaborate with companies to promote goods and services, so Ronaldo’s social media team might have sponsored the content for the fan page.
The content in question has since been taken down. On X, nevertheless, the post’s screenshot went viral in no time, with fans criticising him for being insecure about Messi’s achievements. Moreover, it’s important to keep in mind that Ronaldo’s social media profiles are supposedly run by a staff person rather than by him in the interim.
