Early Life
Jaiswal was born on December 28, 2001, as the fourth of six children to Bhupendra Jaiswal, the owner of a small hardware store, and Kanchan Jaiswal, a housewife, in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. His net worth is at $1.5 million and he is single and not dating anyone.

He moved to Dadar, Mumbai, at the age of ten, to receive cricket training at Azad Maidan. Because Dadar was far from the Maidan, he moved to the Kalbadevi neighborhood, where he was given lodging in a dairy shop in exchange for low-wage work. He was eventually ejected by the shopkeeper because he couldn’t help much at the shop in between cricket practices.
Jaiswal lived in a tent with the groundsmen at the Maidan, where he often slept hungry and sold panipuri to make ends meet.
After three years of living in tents, Jaiswal’s cricketing talent was discovered in December 2013 by Jwala Singh, who ran a cricket academy in Santacruz.
Career
Yashasvi rose to prominence in 2015 after scoring 319* runs and taking 13 wickets in the Giles Shield match. On January 7, he made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy.
Yashasvi completed his List. Mumbai makes its Vijay Hazare Trophy debut in 2018-19. While playing for Mumbai, Jaiswal demonstrated his abilities by scoring 203 runs off 154 balls against Jharkhand.
At the age of 17, he became the youngest double centurion in List A cricket history, and he was one of the top run-scorers in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 564 runs in 6 matches at an average of 112.80.
IPL Career
On September 22, 2020, he made his Twenty20 debut for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2020 IPL. On October 2, 2021, he scored his first half-century against the Chennai Super Kings.
On 30 April 2023, Jaiswal scored his first T20 century, scoring 124(62) against Mumbai Indians in a losing effort.
International Career
Jaiswal began his U-19 International career in the 2018 ACC-Under 19 Asia Cup, where he scored 318 runs and was the tournament’s leading run-scorer. In 2019, he scored 294 runs in 7 matches, including four half-centuries in a tri-series in England against Bangladesh.
He was named to India’s U-19 Cricket World Cup squad in December 2019. Jaiswal became the tournament’s leading run-scorer, scoring a century against Pakistan in the semi-finals. He was also named Man of the Tournament.
