Cricketer Prerak Mankad biography, age, jersey number, IPL 2023 price and team
On April 23, 1994, Prerak Mankad, an Indian cricketer who plays for Saurashtra, was born and is currently 29 years old and is 5 feet 10 inches tall. He used to wear the number 46 jersey during his time at Punjab Kings.
Mankad had only played in two IPL games prior to today’s game. Punjab Kings (PBKS) paid Rs. 20 lakh to purchase him in the 2022 auction.
He recently took part in their final league match of the year against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), scoring four runs off of one ball.
The 29-year-old was released by PBKS and purchased by LSG in the 2023 auction for the same amount.
At the Ekana Stadium last month, he made his debut against Gujarat Titans (GT), but he didn’t get to see a single ball. With few runs scored, the game was lost.
When Deepak Hooda, who was experiencing problems, was replaced by him in the starting XI, he suddenly received a promotion from LSG to number three and did wonders for the club.

Mankad’s rise has offered them a reliable Indian batter in the top order because Hooda is out of form and Rahul is injured.
Prerak is a trustworthy all-rounder with left-arm spin ability who is well-known for his batting in Hyderabad. He was a key contributor to Saurashtra’s 2022–23 Ranji and Vijay Hazare Trophy victories.
Prerak debuted in first-class and T20 cricket in 2016, and he debuted in List A in 2017. The all-rounder has accumulated 2006 runs and 43 wickets in 46 first-class games.
In 53 games of List A cricket, he has 1535 runs and 38 wickets. He has played 43 games, amassed 22 wickets, a phenomenal strike rate of 142.60, and scored 877 runs in the shorter format.
The uncapped talent was regularly spotted on the pitch in IPL 2023 as a replacement fielder despite not actively playing.
