Since the inaugural Madrid City Council’s Cup in 1903, sixteen clubs have been victorious in Spain’s top domestic cup tournament, the Copa del Rey.
With 31 overall, FC Barcelona is the Spanish football team with the most Copa del Rey championship victories. Among Barca’s 31 victories are a 1910 debut victory as well as a streak of four straight from 2015 to 2018. Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao, who have won 20 and 23 titles overall, respectively, came in just after FC Barcelona in this position.
