This year, the competition will once again feature six guest nations, as part of the CONMEBOL and CONCACAF’s new “strategic collaboration agreement”.

The U.S. last hosted the Copa America in the summer of 2016 during the Copa America Centenario, (100-year celebration)
Interestingly, the CONMEBOL-CONCACAF partnership will also extends to the women’s division. The organizers of the Gold Cup have revamped the competition as the 2024 CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup. The competition will feature eight CONCACAF teams and four CONMEBOL teams.
Copa America 2024 groups
Ahead of the tournament, the group stage draws took place on December 7, 2023, 7:30pm ET at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The organizers seeded the teams using their FIFA ranking. Given below are the different groups of the upcoming tournament:
