India defeated England by 4 runs in the first semifinal while Australia defeated New Zealand by 5 wickets in the second semi-final.
Reigning 50-over world champions Australia’s huge depth in batting helped them to chase a competitive 147-run target in 19.3 overs.
Both semifinals were a thriller to watch, as both games were concluded on the last overs.

Batting first India managed to put a total of 165/5 in 20 overs, Smriti Mandhana (61) and Jemimah Rodrigues (44*) were the highest run gatherers for India.

In response, England was looking for victory with a 54-run partnership between skipper Nat Sciver (41) and Amy Jones (31) bringing England close. England was required 14 runs in the last over to book their spot in the finals, but India managed to defend 14 runs in the final over and defeated England by 4 runs.
However, it will be a difficult contest for both teams, keeping their recent performances in mind, any one can come out as a winner.
