Since 2002, men and women can compete in singles and doubles matches in the optional sport of table tennis at the Commonwealth Games. Since the addition of Para-Sports in 2002, elite athletes with disabilities have had the option to participate in wheelchair play. 2022 Commonwealth Games Table Tennis Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
Since its introduction in the 2002 Commonwealth Games, table tennis has been played six times, with the most recent event taking place in England. The competition will consist of eleven events, including four parasport competitions, and will take place between July 29 and August 8, 2022.
The National Exhibition Centre in Solihull will host the table tennis tournaments. There will also be competitions in badminton, boxing, netball, para powerlifting, and weightlifting, among other five sports.

Indian Contingent for 2022 Commonwealth Games Table Tennis Events & Past Achievements
After the team events are over, the individual and doubles competitions will begin on August 3 with the preliminary qualifying round matches and end on August 7 and 8 with the medal matches. At the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, 160 paddlers will compete, including 8 from India, led by Manika Batra, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, and Sharath Kamal, who are all top medal contenders.
At the Commonwealth Games, the Indian table tennis team has won 20 medals so far. India, which currently sits third overall in the medals standings behind Singapore and England, will want to overtake them both by winning more medals at the 2022 CWG.
