The cycling competition for the 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place between July 29 and August 7 at four different venues. Indian teams failed to proceed in the qualifying rounds of the men’s 4000m team pursuit, women’s team sprint, and men’s team sprint on the opening day.

2022 Commonwealth Games Cycling Day 1 Results, Saturday Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
On the first day of the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, the Indian cycling team did not get past the qualifying rounds in any of the three events they were competing in. With a qualifying time of 4:12.865s, the four-person team of Venkappa Kengalagutti, Dinesh Kumar, Anantha Narayanan, and Vishvajeet Singh placed sixth in the men’s 4000m team pursuit.
Meanwhile, team of Shushikala Agashe, Triyasha Paul, and Mayuri Lute of placed seventh in the women’s team sprint qualification with a time of 51.433s, more than three seconds behind than the winning New Zealand team. With a time of 44.702 seconds, the combination of Y Rojit Singh, L Ronaldo Singh, and E David Beckham placed sixth in the men’s team sprint qualification.
