2022 Commonwealth Games 2022 Commonwealth Games – Men’s Singles Badminton Latest Results, Round of 16 Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
On Thursday, round of 32 matches were played in men’s singles badminton and India had a flawless day as both Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth cleared their first hurdle and advanced to the round of 16. Lakshya Sen won against Vernon Smeed in straight sets with a score of 21-4, 21-5. Meanwhile, Srikanth won his match against Daniel Wanagaliya also in straight sets with a score of 21-9, 21-9.
In the pre-quarterfinal, Kidambi Srikanth will face Dumindu Abeywickrama while Lakshya Sen will take on Yingxiang Lin. The Indian shuttlers are expected to easily clear the round of 16 matches and advance to the quarterfinal.
