A Ghanaian football player, Christian Atsu, who usually played as winger has left us for his heavenly abode, know his weekly salary and net worth
The player who often deployed as an attacking midfielder has been discovered in Turkey beneath the rubble of a residence where he loved, the local media reported on Saturday, Feb 18, 2023.
The local media quoted Atsu’ manager statement as they revealed the national player and former Newcastle midfielder has been found dead.

As per a statement released by Atsu’ manager, Murat Uzunmehmet, who revealed to DHA News agency that the player’s body had been found under the wreckage of a building in the Turkish Southern province of Hatay.
Murat said in his statement to the reporters in Hatay wherein althlete’s body was found, “Atsu’s lifeless body was found under the rubble. Currently, more items are still being taken out. His phone was also found.”
Meanwhile, Christian’ parents are extremely proud of their son’s professional achievements. He served as a Ghanaian footballer who plays for the Ghana national team and the Turkish Super Lig club Hatayspor.

For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, the late player started his professional career with Porto and also spent a year on loan at Rio Ave.
Chelsea signed a deal with him for £3.5 million back in 2013, and soon afterwards the club loaned him to other likes of Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, AFC Bournemouth, and Málaga.
He had full international career with more than 60 caps under his belt since his 2012 debut. He also has represented Ghana at 4 Africa Cup of Nations competitions in addition to the FIFA World Cup 2014.
A year after, in 2015, Africa Cup of Nations, wherein he also won Player of the Tournament and Goal of the tournament as he had contributed to the team’s second place result.

If you’re curious to know more about Atsu’, let us tell you, the winger was born on January 10, 1992 in Ada Foah, Greater Accra Region. His mother, Atsu Twasam, and father raised him with unconditional love, support, and nurture.
Atsu’ was a member of Ada tribe from his father’s side adlnd the “Ewes” tribe of the Ayigbe from his mother’s side. His mother is quite outspoken about his ancestry roots and origin.

Christian was married to author Marie-Claire Rupio. He met his future wife around 10 years ago, when he was still playing for Porto in Portugal.

We’ve been together for 9 to 10 years and I just love her.”
After the player went missing in Turkey earthquake on February 6, 2023, everyone feared that he might not be alive. However, on Wednesday, February 8, he was found and taken to a hospital.
