Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) Leaks Reveal Campaign DLC, Maps List And Pack For 2023
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will go live on October 28, 2022. Over the past few months, there has been a great deal of anticipation for the newest instalment of the enormously popular first-person shooter games. Gameplay, fresh features, and other information have been made a public week after week.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leak hints more campaign content DLC
Charlie Intel, one of the most important Call of Duty news sources, discovered the leak. The Ghost of Hope, a leaker, predicts that the campaign DLC will arrive in the latter half of 2023. Ghost of Hope has asserted that a fresh “Greatest Hits Map Pack” may be released for multiplayer, most likely bringing with it several iconic maps from MW2.
In an August tweet, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, who has a stellar reputation, predicted that instead of a new COD game in 2019, there would likely be more DLC. He said that he would expect fresh paid (‘premium’) content for Modern Warfare 2 in 2023, not a completely new Call of Duty. Treyarch is in charge of directing the upcoming mainline game, which was delayed until 2024, according to a prior Bloomberg report.
According to Ghost of Hope, Schreier was alluding to the map pack that appears to have leaked and the campaign DLC. There has never been campaign DLC for a Call of Duty game before; instead, the storyline is often left intact at retail while new multiplayer maps, weaponry, and modes are added. After we’ve all completed the campaign, there is a chance for further campaign missions, though we must always take rumours like these with a grain of salt.
