Caleb Sequan Williams, born in Washington, D.C., U.S. on November 18, 2001, is a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears.
The 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) tall player played college football at Oklahoma and USC, where he made a significant impact before the Bears selected him with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
In 2022, Williams won the Heisman Trophy and several other prestigious awards at USC, thanks to his remarkable performance of over 4,500 passing yards and a record-breaking 52 total touchdowns.
Career
Williams attended Gonzaga College High School. During his sophomore year in 2018, he led Gonzaga to a WCAC Championship, establishing the team as the best in the district.
That year, he earned Washington Post All-Metropolitan 1st team honors and was named Washington, D.C. Gatorade Football Player of the Year, having thrown for 2,624 yards with 26 touchdowns and rushed for 394 yards with 10 touchdowns.
