After spending eight months in detention, Cain Velasquez received a $1 million bail on Tuesday. In Santa Clara County, the former UFC heavyweight champion is accused of attempted murder and ten other gun-related offenses.

Velasquez is charged with firing at Harry Goularte after pursuing him in his car. Goularte is accused of sexually abusing a child member of Velasquez’s family. In a legal case filed in June, he said that Goularte had assaulted the 4-year-old son of Velasquez.
According to Velasquez’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, he will be required to wear a GPS tracker and refrain from coming within 300 yards of the alleged victims in the case.
