The Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium will host the doubles category tournament for the 2022 BWF World Championships from August 22 through August 28. The Indian team of MR Arjun and D Kapila, along with their fellow countrymen Chirag Shetty and S Rankireddy, will be determined to maintain their excellent form and win the gold medal in the men’s doubles competition.

2022 BWF World Championships Doubles Category Third Round Results, India Score, And Winners
Arjun and Kapila, an unseeded Indian team, had to work extremely hard for 58 minutes to overcome Terry Hee and Loh Kean Hean of Singapore and reach the quarterfinals. The Indian duo emerged as winners after a nail-biting match that finished in the favor of Indians. In contrast, Satwik and Chirag easily defeated Jeppa Bay and Lasse Molhede of Denmark in 35 minutes as they won the game in straight sets with a score of 21-12, 21-10.
Arjun and Kapila will compete against Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan, the third-seeded Indonesian team, in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Satwik & Chirag will face a similar uphill task against the second-seeded Japanese duo of Takuro Hoki & Yugo Kobayashi
