Malaysian women’s doubles duo of Vivian Hoo and Lim Chiew Sien had to put in some effort to defeat Linda Efler and Isabel Lohau of Germany in the opening round with a score of 21-17, 21-15. After their win, Vivian & Chiew Sien were slated to compete against Rachel Honderich-Kristen Tsai of Canada in the round of 32. However, the Canadians, who were given a bye in the first round, withdrew from the contest and allowed the Malaysian duo a direct entry for Thursday’s third round match.

From August 22 through August 28, 2022, the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium will serve as the venue for the doubles category tournament of the BWF World Championships. All competitors will be inspired to perform well and get the coveted gold medal because of the event’s long history and reputable reputation.
