The Thailand Open in 2022 will be the BWF World Tour’s ninth tournament, and it will be part of the Thailand Open championships, which have been conducted since 1984. The tournament will be hosted by the Badminton Association of Thailand and sanctioned by the BWF.

2022 Thailand Open Badminton Men’s Singles First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players List
Srikanth Kidambi, the bronze medalist in the World Championships, is seeded eighth in the 2022 Thailand Open. In the opening round, Srikanth will meet fellow countryman Parupalli Kashyap. Sameer Verma is another Indian in the same bracket alongside World No. 1 Viktor Axelsen.
In the first round, Sourabh Verma will face Toma Junior Popa. HS Prannoy and Sai Praneeth will represent India in another bracket. In the opening round, Prannoy will face Liew Daren, while Sai Praneeth will face Kantaphon Wangchaoren.
