BWF Taipei Badminton Open 2022 Men’s Singles Results, Day 2 Schedule, Date, Time, Draw, Players, Score And Live Stream Telecast India
The Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium will play host to the $500k Yonex Taipei Open, a badminton championship, from July 19 to July 24, 2022. There are 26 Indian shuttlers competing in the tournament, therefore Indian supporters will undoubtedly expect numerous medals after a nearly flawless display by Indian shuttlers in first round of Men’s singles matches.

2022 Taipei Open Badminton Men’s Singles First Round Results, Score, Draw, Fixtures
In the opening round of the men’s singles division on Wednesday, Indian player Parupalli Kashyap defeated Chinese Taipei’s Chi Yu Jen to get his Taipei Open 2022 campaign off to a winning start. Kashyap won the match in straight sets with a score of 24-22, 21-10 to overcome his adversary. Although the first game was evenly contested, the second was incredibly one-sided and Kashyap triumphed in both of them to win the contest.
In the other men’s singles match, Mithun Manjunath advanced to the second round after defeating Kim Bruun of Denmark. Manjunath won his match in straight sets with a score of 21-17, 21-15. Manjunath dominated the court to the point that he comfortably defeated his Danish opponent and ended the match on a high note.

Points Award System
Each round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 competition is allocated points according to the BWF point distribution system. Men’s Singles champions are awarded 7,000 BWF points, while losers are given 5,950 points.
Competitors wishing to advance in the BWF World Rankings will definitely be motivated by the massive number of points up for grabs. Four men’s singles shuttlers from India have qualified for the pre-quarterfinals and will be carefully watched by Indian badminton fans as they have a good opportunity of moving up the BWF World Rankings.

Prize Money Pool Distribution
When the awards are given out in compliance with BWF rules, the total prize money for the 2022 Taipei Open will be US$500,000. The winner of the men’s singles competition will get $37,500 from this prize fund along with the much-coveted gold medal.
