BWF Para-Badminton World Championships Results Today, Last Day Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, Scores, & Other Details
With his dominant performance at 2022 Para Badminton World Championships in Tokyo, Indian ace Pramod Bhagat has advanced to the gold medal match of both singles and doubles event in men’s SL3 division. During Saturday’s thrilling singles semifinal, Pramod defeated Daisuki Fujihara of Japan to advance to the championship match. Top-seeded Pramod won in straight-sets by score of 22-20, 21-14 against Fujihara. Later in men’s singles final, compatriot Nitesh Kumar will be opponent of Pramod. Elsewhere, his doubles partner Manoj Sarkar settled for bronze medal after losing against Nitesh Kumar by score of 21-10, 21-13 in an all-Indian semi-final.
In the semifinal of men’s SL3-SL4 doubles competition, Indian duo Pramod Bhagat & Manoj Sarkar easily dispatched French pair Guillaume Gaily & Mathieu Thomas in straight-set by score of 21-8, 21-16 thanks to their superior play. On Sunday, the Indian duo will square off against Indonesia’s Ramdani & Ukun Runkandi. Meanwhile in men’s SL-4 division, Sukant Kadam bagged bronze-medal after losing 20-22, 15-21 to Indonesia’s Fredy Setiawan.
