The 2022 Korea Open was the eighth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Open championships, which have been held since 1991. The Badminton Korea Association hosted this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

The tournament took place from April 5th to April 10th, 2022, at Palma Indoor Stadium, Suncheon, South Korea, with a total prize fund of $360,000. With this, the Korea Open was held in Suncheon for the first time.
2022 Korea Open Badminton Final Results, Score And List Of Winners
In the final day of 2022 BWF Korea Open badminton, Korean players dropped one masterclass performance after another as a total of three categories were won by Korean players. An Seyoung won the women’s singles category in straight sets with a score of 21-17, 21-18 against Chochuwong.
The mixed doubles pair of H. Eom and S.H. Ko lost against Malaysian pair of K.M Tan and P.J Lai in the final in straight sets. However, women’s doubles pair of N. Jeong and H. Kim won the category final against pair of B. Aimsaard and N. Aimsaard in straight sets.
In the men’s singles Weng stunned second-seed Jonatan Christie to become the champion after a nail-biting final. Korean duo S.J Seo and Kang won the men’s doubles category to win third gold medal for Korea in the ongoing Korea Open 2022.
