The 2022 Korea Open will be the eighth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Open championships, which have been held since 1991. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

The tournament will take place from April 5th to April 10th, 2022, at Palma Indoor Stadium, Suncheon, South Korea, with a total prize fund of $360,000. With this, the Korea Open will be held in Suncheon for the first time.

In the doubles category semi-final of 2022 BWF Korea Open badminton, Korean players dropped one masterclass performance after another as a total of three Korean pairs advanced to the doubles category final matches with one pair in each of the men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles final.
The mixed doubles pair of H. Eom and S.H. Ko will face Malaysian pair of K.M Tan and P.J Lai in the final. Meanwhile, women’s doubles pair of N. Jeong and H. Kim will clash with the pair of B. Aimsaard and N. Aimsaard in the final
