The 2022 Korea Masters will be the ninth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Masters championships, which have been held since 2007. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

2022 Korea Masters Badminton Men’s Singles First Round Results, Fixtures, Players List
In the first round of 2022 Korea Masters, South Korean shuttler Kim D-h stunned seventh seed Zhao JP after a nail-biting match. Kim won the match with a score of 21-16, 17-21, 21-16. Meanwhile, Denmark shuttler V Svendsen defeated Korean Lee Y-g with a strong comeback after losing the first set. Svendsen won the match 9-21, 21-18, 21-19.
Fourth seed Lu GZ and sixth seed S Thammasin both won their match in straight sets and advanced to the second-round matches. Lu GZ won 21-13, 21-19 against Korean shuttler Lee D-k while Thammasin defeated J Louda with a score of 21-10, 21-13.
