The 2022 Korea Masters will be the ninth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Masters championships, which have been held since 2007. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

The tournament will take place from April 12 to April 17, 2022, at Gwangju Women’s University Stadium, Gwangju, South Korea, with a total prize fund of $360,000. Fans can purchase their tickets from here.

2022 Korea Masters Badminton Doubles Category First Round Results, Fixtures, Players List
Olympic champion Zhang Nan and world champion Liu Cheng were defeated in the first round of 2022 Korea Masters by Kim Jae-hyeon/Lee Yong-dae of South Korea 18-21, 21-15, 21-11.
Meanwhile, Tan Qiang and his partner Ren Xiangyu swept South Korean duo Kim Hwi-tae and Yoon Dae Il 21-17, 21-12 in men’s doubles action. Pongsakorn Thongkham/Thanawath Udomsipronkul of Thailand were defeated by He Jiting/Zhou Haodong of China 21-10, 21-18.
