The East Ventures Indonesia Open 2022 is a badminton tournament that will take place from June 14 to June 19, 2022 at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Jakarta, Indonesia. There is a total prize pool of $1,200,000 USD available.

June 14th- June 15th: First-round matches will begin at 9:30am local time

16th June: Second-round matches will begin

June 17: Quarter-finals begin

18th June: Semi-finals begin

June 19: Finals begin

2022 Indonesia Open Badminton Women’s Singles First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players List

In the first round of the women’s doubles at 2022 Indonesia Open, Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy will face Srivedya Gurazada and Ishika Jaiswal, an Indo-American team. If Ponnappa and Reddy win the first round, they will face Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan, the top seed.

Meanwhile, Treesa Jolly and Gaytri Gopichand are back in action, taking on Margot Lambert and Anne Tran of France in the first round. The other Indian duo in the same quarter is Ashwini Bhat and Shikha Gautam, who will face China’s Zhang Shuxian and Zheng Yu in the first round.

The other Indian seeds, Haritha Harinarayanan and Ashna Roy, will face South Koreans Jeong Na-eun and Kim Hye-jeong in the first round.
