The competition is taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno. The Indonesia Masters kicked-off on June 7th and will run till June 12th, 2022. In addition, the prestigious tournament will feature a total prize money of $360,000.

Sen, who was a member of the Indian team that won the Thomas Cup for the first time in Bangkok, defeated world number 13 Rasmus Gemke of Denmark in 54 minutes in the men’s singles. Sen, seeded seventh, will face Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei in the quarterfinal of 2022 Indonesian Masters. The match is set to be a challenging one for Lakshya Sen as Chou Tien defeated the Indian in a three-game thriller during the Thomas Cup last month.
