2022 Hylo Open Badminton Doubles Category Results Today, Score, Winners, & Semi-Final Draw
On Friday, third-seeded men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty crashed out from quarterfinal of 2022 Hylo Open. Satwik & Chirag, who won the French Open last week, suffered straight-set loss against seventh-seeded English pair of Ben Lane & Sean Vendy by score of 17-21, 14-21. Elsewhere, top-seeded Japanese pair Takuro Hoki & Yuki Kobayashi were also eliminated after losing to Taiwanese duo Lee & Yang by score of 21-14, 19-21, 21-23 after an intense quarterfinal.
Treesa Jolly & Gayatri Gopichand, who won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games, advanced to the semi-final of 2022 Hylo Open on Friday after a spirited victory. After an intense quarterfinal that lasted one-hour, Treesa & Gayatri defeated Chinese Taipei’s Hsu Ya Ching & Lin Wan Ching by score of 21-17 18-21 21-8 to secure match-up against eight-seeded Thai duo Benyapa Aimsaard & Nuntakarn Aimsaard.
