2023 German Open final day results, scores, winners, & list of champions
Ng Ka Long, defeated Chinese star Li Shifeng at the 2023 German Open on Sunday by scores of 20-22, 21-18, & 21-18 to win the coveted BWF Super 300 title. Akane Yamaguchi won the summit match between the two top-ranked players by defeating An Se-young, the second-seed. Unexpectedly, the highly anticipated final was won by the Japanese shuttler by a lopsided score of 21-17, 21-14.
After a competitive men’s doubles final, South Koreans Choi Sol-gyu & Kim Won-ho defeated Kang Min-hyuk & Seo Seung-jae by a score of 21-19, 18-21, 21-19. The top-seeded team of Nami Matsuyama & Chiharu Shida were defeated in the women’s doubles final by the Korean team of Baek Ha-na & Lee So-hee. In another match, Feng Yanzhe & Huang Dongping defeated their Korean rivals to win their third mixed doubles championship of the year.
