The famous 2022 Denmark Open is being held at the Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark, from October 18 to October 23. Han Yue and Pai Yu-Po shocked higher ranked players to advance to the quarterfinal round even though other six seeded players managed to qualify for final-eight after performing as per expectations.

2022 Denmark Open Badminton Women’s Singles Results Today, Score, Winners, & Upcoming Quarterfinal Draw
In the second round of ongoing 2022 Denmark Open, reigning world champion Akane Yamaguchi survived tough challenge from Wang Zhiyi to win 21-14, 20-22, 25-23. After a dominant 21-14 win in first set by the top-seed, her Chinese opponent won second-set by score of 22-20 force a decider set. Despite giving it her all, Wang came-up short and Yamaguchi clinched third set 25-23 to seal the victory and advance to quarterfinal stage.
During another second round match, Han Yue stunned former world champion Carolina Marin by score of 22-15, 22-20 and advanced to quarterfinal. In quarterfinal, she will face Taiwanese player Pai Yu-Po, who caused an upset by defeating sixth-seed Nozomi Okuhara in straight sets by score of 21-11, 21-19. Following their wins in different second-round matches, second-seed Tai Tzu-ying and fifth-seed Ratchanok Intanon qualified for final-eight stage, where they will clash against each other for spot in semi-final.
Except the elimination of Carolina Marin and Nozomi Okuhara, all seeded players in women’s singles competition have qualified for quarterfinal stage. Chinese and Taiwanese shuttlers are dominating women’s singles competition with three Chinese and two Taiwanese shuttlers in quarterfinal. As per BWF Points System, winner of the women’s singles competition will bag 11,000 BWF points, while the runner-up will earn 9,350 points. Prize Money Pool Distribution
After awards are given out in accordance with BWF regulations, the total prize pool for the 2022 Denmark Open will be $750,000.
