The prestigious 2022 Denmark Open badminton competition is currently taking place at Arena Fyn in Odense and is scheduled to culminate on 23rd October with final match. 2022 Denmark Open Badminton Men’s Singles Results Today, Score, Winners, & Upcoming Draw
In an all-Indian clash between HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen in second-round of 2022 Denmark Open, Sen dominated from very start and sealed victory in straight sets after winning 21-9, 21-18. After this win, Lakshya Sen has advanced to quarterfinal of men’s single competition, where he will face unseeded Japanese shuttler Kodai Naraoka. In another quarterfinal, fifth-seed Chou Tien-Chen will face Shi Yuqi will face-off with winner of this match waiting for Sen in semi-final if he manages to break through Naraoka.
Following a 21-15, 21-19 win in straight sets over compatriot Rasmus Gemke, reigning world champion Viktor Axelsen advanced to quarterfinal of 2022 Denmark Open on Thursday. Axelsen will now play 2021 world champion Loh Kean Yew, who defeated Kidambi Srikanth in straight sets by score of 21-13, 21-15. In another match, fourth-seed Lee Zii Jia won in straight sets against Kanta Tsuneyama to qualify for quarterfinal, where he will face eighth seed Jonatan Christie.
During Thursday’s second-round matches of 2022 Denmark Open, HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth failed to win their respective ties and hence, Lakshya Sen is the last remaining shuttler from India in men’s singles competition.
