2023 Badminton Asia Championships day 4 schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & quarterfinal draw
After winning their respective round-of-16 matches on Thursday, top Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Prannoy HS qualified for the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing Badminton Asia Championships. PV Sindhu achieved this feat thanks to her dominant 21-12, 21-15 win against in-form Chinese shuttler Han Yue. Meanwhile, Prannoy overcame Indonesian star Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo by scores of 21-16, 5-21, & 21-18 to reach the quarterfinal.
Elsewhere, Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth crashed out from the competition after losing 14-21, 22-20, 9-21 against Japan’s Kodai Naraoka. Following these results, it is confirmed that PV Sindhu will face-off against Korean ace An Se-young and HS Prannoy will clash against Tsuneyma in the quarterfinal. Similarly, Indian men’s doubles pair Satwikraj & Chirag advanced to the quarterfinal with their comfortable victory in the second-round.

2023 Badminton Asia Championships: prize money distribution
Each singles category winner of the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships will get $30,000 from the $400,000 total prize pool, in accordance with BWF rules. Additionally, the singles runner-up will win $15,200 whereas the semi-final losers would only receive $5,800. After losing his second-round tie against Naraoka, Indian shuttler Srikanth Kidambi will return home with $1,400 prize money.
