A fresh story claims that Bryan Kohberger ate at a restaurant in Moscow named the Mad Greek where the two college students he is accused of murdering worked as waitresses
Prior to the November 13 quadruple killing, Kohberger, 28, reportedly visited Mad Greek at least twice and ordered vegan pizza, according to a former employee who spoke with People magazine.
Madison Mogen, age 21, and Xana Kernodle, age 20, were coworkers at a restaurant on Moscow’s South Main Street. An employee noted that Kohberger stood out because he took extra precautions to ensure that his vegetarian meal had not been cross-contaminated with any animal items.
Bryan Kohberger ate at Mad Greek Moscow Idaho restaurant twice where victims Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle worked
Keira’s Amazing Vegan pizza at Mad Greek has sautéed red and green peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes, while the restaurant’s mainstays are lamb and beef. Since Kohberger follows a vegan diet, former FBI profiler Mary Ellen O’Toole finds it interesting that he would choose a restaurant that specialises on meat.
According to his aunt, he wouldn’t dare consume anything cooked in a pan or pot that had previously held raw or cooked meat. Kohberger may or may not have had any contact or food during these trips with the victims.
The Ph.D. student in criminology is suspected of ambushing Mogen, Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Ethan Chapin, 20, at an off-campus rental home early on the morning of November 13. According to media, Kohberger’s deleted Instagram account followed Mogen, Kernodle, and Goncalves.
Bryan Kohberger bombarded messages to victim
O’Toole expressed curiosity as to whether or not he had followed the women prior to their meal at the restaurant where two of them worked. Beginning in October, Kohberger had been sending a string of messages to one of the female victims via Instagram.
The investigators have spoken with Mad Greek staff and owners, so they are aware of Kohberger’s frequent trips to the establishment. They have also obtained footage from nearby businesses’ camera systems.
The graduate student from Washington State University has been accused of four charges of first-degree murder and one count of burglary. In a statement released through his lawyer, Kohberger rejected the claims. He remains detained without bond at the Latah County Jail in Moscow.
