Although Boruto does not want to, he must finally use his Karma to fight if he is to have any hope of defeating Kawaki. In Jigen’s last minutes, Eida criticizes him. It infuriates Code because he can not stand it when others make fun of him. Eida’s ability to attract anybody who sees her seems to be another talent Amago gave her. She was denied the chance to experience love. It is because she could never tell if someone was being sincere or not.

In the episode’s trailer, Kawaki can be seen worried once more about Code and how helpless he is to save Naruto. While Kawaki has eliminated Karma, which was all he wished, he now has a specific mission: protecting the Seventh Hokage.
Kawaki is talking to Amado and he is still confused by Code and worried about the Seventh Hokage.ย He makes it clear that Code continues to disturb his dreams. This has several implications, including the possibility that he still has karma because he is still an Isshiki. Code was envious of Kawaki for serving as Isshiki’s vessel. So, we can also suspect that Code is seeking Kawaki.
In episode 289, we will see Kawaki and Amado battling as well. The episode will highlight the introduction of training, which will be Boruto’s preferred approach given that he succeeded in the battle. Naruto could also participate given that he has been periodically observing them quietly.
