Tennis season is ready for another major event after the Australian Open. The event us considered one of the biggest after the four Grand Slams, the Indian Wells Masters where top players are seen fighting for the crown.
The 2023 BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells will begin on March 8th, bringing tennis back to the United States for a “Sunshine Double” featuring ATP & WTA stars.
The prize money and ranking points up for grabs are undoubtedly a major incentive for each competitor at Indian Wells in 2023. The competition, which is held at the Indian Tennis Garden and is frequently labelled as the “fifth Grand Slam,” is played from March 8 through March 19.

Taylor Fritz and Iga Swiatek won the competition on their respective tours last year, and in 2023, they will be defending their championships.
The young Pole is ranked first on the WTA entry list, while the American colleague is among the top seeds on the ATP entry list.
For both competitions, the prize money is split equally, but the distribution of the points is different.
The winner of the ATP and WTA tournaments in Indian Wells will receive $1,262,220, while the runner-up will receive $662,360 and 600 points in the men’s and 650 points in the women’s tournaments, respectively.
Everybody is rewarded in the competition, which will include 96 players from both tours, starting with the first round. Each player will receive a minimum of 10 points and $18,660, and for making it to the second round on the ATP Tour or WTA Tour, athletes will receive $30,885 and 35 points.
