Bitter Sweet Hell plot

The story revolves around Kim Hee-sun’s character, Noh Young-won who is a well-known celebrity psychiatrist whose seemingly perfect existence is upended when she finds out that her husband, Choi Jae-jin (Kim Nam-hee), is having an affair with Yeonwoo’s mysterious Lee Se-na.

Se-na’s abrupt entry triggers a series of sad occurrences that rock Young-won’s family and reveal the weakness of their flawless exterior. Determined to confront the truth and salvage her fractured life, Young-won teams up with her mother-in-law, Hong Sa-gang, in a desperate bid to protect their family from irreparable harm.

Along the way, Young-won and Sa-gang face their own weaknesses and fears as they negotiate a perilous terrain of treachery and deceit. They discover shocking truths about themselves and their loved ones as they work through the layers of dishonesty surrounding Jae-jin’s affair, which forces them to face difficult realities and reassess their relationships.
