This marks the third collaboration between Sinha’s production house Benaras Media Works and Bhushan Kumar’s label T-Series after Taapsee starrer film Thappad and recently-released Anek, in which Ayushmann Khurrana was in the main role. It was shot in the city of Lucknow, India.
The movie stars talented and stunning actors of Bollywood including Rajkummar Rao in the key role and opposite him, Bhumi Pednekar has been roped in the female main role. Rajkummar Rao’s most recent movie is the action thriller film HIT: The First Case, which is the remake of a Telugu film of the same name released in 2020.
On other hand, Bhumi’s recent release is family entertainer Rakshabandhan, which was released on the 11th of August in 2022 on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and it received a mixed response from critics.
Bheed marks its second collaboration between Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao just after the comedy-drama movie Badhaai Do. Apart from these stars, it also features Veteran actors Virendra Saxena and Sambhav Pandey.
Bheed release date and teaser
The makers of Bheed have confirmed its release date for the 24th of March 2023 now. After the underrated movie of 2022, Badhaai Do pair Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao again have a chance to shine on the screen.
The Bheed teaser has been released on 3rd March, which reveals the story of 2020 (Lockdown period), and the teaser shows a comparison between the partition of 1947 and 2020.
