PUBG is one of the most loved games globally. Moreover, the gamers love to play this battle royale game as its game mechanics are very different from others. After the ban of the PUBG Mobile global version, most of the Indian players shifted to the Korean version of PUBG. The Korean version of the game is almost the same as the global version.

Moreover, players were not required any kind of VPN in order to play the game. It means that the game was downloaded by an external website and was played on the servers of the PUBG Mobile global version. So, is it possible with BGMI too?

Currently, the game is only available for Indian players and the servers are now different. Additionally, because of data security reasons, BGMI is now using different servers in order to store player’s data. So, if the servers are different it is not possible to get matched with players who play the game on the Global version. Also, in a recent statement, Krafton stated that once the data is transferred to BGMI from PUBG then players cannot team up with a player of PUBG Mobile or else they will face a ban of 50 years.

One of the most famous esports player and content creator Tanmany Singh who is also known as Scout said that BGMI is working on their cross-server. Scout said this before the launch of the game when he was frequently asked the reason for the launch delay. Furthermore, there are no official statements from officials regarding this and maybe it will be possible in the future.
