The Battlegrounds India Series (BGIS) 2024 is back with its third edition, check out all the details of the event below, including the schedule, dates, format, schedule, teams, prize pool, points system, and more
This year’s event is set to be the biggest BGIS event of the year and will consist of four stages.

Notably, the competition this year will feature changes in the format including a new points system, and trading or exchanging players among teams according to their demands.
BGIS 2024 format
The BGIS 2024 will start off with the Grind event where teams will compete and get placed in different standings based on their performances. The Grind event, will feature a total 256 teams divided across 16 groups, with each group playing three matches. Each team will be ranked based on their performances, and the top 64 teams will qualify for the main event. Given below are the team slots based on their standings in The Grind event:

BGIS 2024 teams
The competition will start off with 1024 teams, following which it will reduce to 512 teams after the In-game Qualifiers. It will then reduce to 512 teams by the start of Round 2, and further reduce to 256 teams after round 3. Finally, only 64 games will compete in round four.

BGIS 2024 points system
The BGIS 2024 event will follow a similar points system like the Player Unknown Battlegrounds Mobile Esports. Teams who win a chicken dinner will receive only 10 points instead of the regular 15. Given below is the points system for the upcoming competition:
