Just like Heizou, Scaramouche is best used as a DPS. However, users can also use Scaramouche as an Anemo driver. But, unlike Heizou, Scaramouche is not a melee unit since it hits enemies from a distance. Players should note that Scaramouche deals most of his damage from his Normal Attacks.

Scaramouche (Wanderer) Best Build – Best Weapon
Tulaytullah’s Remembrance is Scaramouche’s undisputed best weapon in Genshin Impact. Besides that, players can also opt to use other 5-star Catalysts like Memory of Dust, Skyward Atlas, and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds.
Although players can also use Kagura’s Verity, it comes behind other options because of the passive.
Widsith on the other hand is the best 4-star weapon for Scaramouche in Genshin Impact. In fact, while at maximum refinement, Widsith gives Scaramouche the ability to outperform other 5-star options, except Tulaytullah’s Remembrance.
Besides Widsith, Wanderer users can also opt for Blackcliff Agate and Solar Pearl. Both these weapons give powerful passive and Critical stat respectively. F2P players on the other hand can use Mappa Mare, Dodoco Tales, or Oathsworn Eye for Wanderer.

4pc Desert Pavilion Chronicle is undoubtedly the best artifact for Scaramouche in Genshin Impact. Wanderer users can also choose other options like 4pc Blizzard Strayer, 4pc Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, and 4pc Echoes of an Offering.
Player should however, note that Blizzard Strayer is only usable in a Freeze comp. Shimenawa on the other hand is great for players who don’t want to end up with an Energy issue. While Echoes of an Offering on the other hand, will work best if Scaramouche users can produce the passive constantly.
If players cannot obtain a 4-pieces set currently, they can also mix some 2-piece sets like:
- 2pc ATK+18% + 2pc ATK+18%
- 2pc ATK+18% + 2pc Anemo DMG+15%
- 2pc Desert Pavilion Chronicle + 2pc Viridescent Venerer
Lastly, for players using Wanderer’s Genshin Impact Shielder, then 4pc Retracing Bolide is the best option. Although the artifact has a comparatively lower damage output, it has an extremely useful shield-strengthening effect.
As for the Artifact main stat, players need to adjust their Goblet depending on the Wanderer’s team compatibility. For example, an ATK Goblet may outperform an Anemo DMG if the Wanderer is taking in a lot of Elemental DMG buffs. On the other hand, Anemo DMG Goblet becomes more useful when receiving plenty of ATK buffs like Bennett’s Burst.
The same concept works when choosing a 2-pc mix. Players that use 2pc Desert Pavilion Chronicle + 2pc Viridescent Venerer for Wanderer must have Bennett in their team to increase ATK. While if a player uses 2pc ATK+18% + 2pc ATK+18%, for Wanderer, then Faruzan is the better option.
